Logline:

After a son kills his father during a manic outburst, he must find a way to continue his career as an artist while balancing a debilitating mental illness and a hidden romantic relationship with his mother.

I know when you read that it's concerning and you may wonder why I even made this concept and that's okay because I'm here to tell you why. I made this story because I didn't think it would be a reality. I grew up in Compton and for myself I had no father and was raised by my grandmother. I never had to fear that she would hurt me but others around me did not have that same privilege. This story is about emotional incest in the middle to low class ethic communities. When there's an absent father the mother tends to treat the oldest son as her significant other and vice versa with a daughter and father. This story is all about the what if's. What if the young boy or girl had never made it out of that awful situation. What if they stayed because they knew nothing else and because they never learned that they can be something else in life.

This proof of concept is only a taste and in the entire story this is only a taste of what will be given psychologically.

I only hope if you see this as someone who has never gone through that now knows what to look for to protect their friends and family members.
